Mahathir... The first 22 answers to your "Apa Salah Saya?"

Wood – Feb 17, 2005 – 8 Zulhijjah 1426Late last week, Mahathir request for a section (one full page) in Utusan to stage his defense on his interference in government related issue, narrowing it down to Proton and Mahaleel. We are very aware of his interference during his regime especially in a Mega Projects with a sole purpose to make his family rich. Uncompleted projects are a norm to his cronies. As a result, towards the end of his regime the Federal Government, State Government and Government Department collapse into near bankruptcy. One of his first statements was “Apa salah saya?” Boy! How I wish I was there so that I can represent millions of Malaysian and tell him to his face what he has done wrong not just in Proton but for the past 22 years of his iron claw regime as a Prime Minister. Here, I will give the first 22.
What about:
1) When there is more secular school compared to religious school.
2) When LHDN can catch people for the unpaid tax but not to Pusat Pungutan Zakat.
3) When ISA can catch citizen that challenge BN but not Jabatan Agama to citizen that challenge Allah.
4) When rich people getting richer and poor people become poorer.
5) Why politician and friends own more than a handful of houses and cars?
6) Why Kelantan and Terengganu are being treated as a second class state?
7) Why now a University is possible in Terengganu?
8) Why now a highway is being constructed to Besut, and Besut only?
9) Why we can see “Beer – Buy 2 jugs and get 1 free?” in Jalan P Ramlee, Jalan Telawi, Jalan Ampang?
10) Why morons like Najib, Hishamuddin, Samy, Rafidah, Isa Samad, Ali Rustam, Muhammad Taib, Khalil, Adnan, Kadir, Mahaleel, TR and himself are still around?
11) Why gambling become “Halal” in Malaysia? Pahang Darul Kasino should be proud.
12) Why Putrajaya can have a “Super Premier” street light at every 25 meters?
13) Why now unnecessary overseas trip and money politic is illegal only when Pak Lah says it but not in Mahathir era?
14) When we can still see a family stays in “Reban ayam” or old couples that live on a RM200 monthly allowance in a soon to be collapsed house knowing that a minister or YB is only a stone away?
15) Why orphan children is not getting education fund or living expenses?
16) When politician is more “respectable” compared to Imam.
17) Why Malay is falling far behind compared to 1957?
18) When “Sister in Islam”, Puteri UMNO and Sharizat challenge Allah in “Satu Suami Satu Isteri” campaign and no one dare to say anything.
19) When toll, gas and daily groceries yearly increment is more than an average Malaysian salary increment in 2 years?
20) When Perdana cost RM107,000 while imported Hyundai and Honda only at RM120,000 and RM140,000 even after tax?
21) Why we got tickets for driving “offence” and have to pay for it but not your cronies?
22) Why he insist to be a so-called advisor for Proton, Petronas and so many more?
As for the rest, go figure. Yet he has no shame and asks “Apa salah saya?” What a joke? WHAT A BIG JOKE?
