Re-branding of PAS

Three major super brands in Malaysia politics are UMNO, PAS and DAP. UMNO has be perceived as the spearhead of Malay privilege, PAS as the crusader of Islamic State while DAP as the Chinese' constitutional rights.
The emergence of the young western educated professional within the PAS power corridor had created substantial impacts on PAS' image and its party policies in adapting to the impact of the globalization and the re-engineering of the PAS' political process in attaining its political ideals.
While trying to break away the branding of being the rural people based political party, PAS young Turks has been creating the paradigm shift through many constructive engagements in attracting the younger generation and the Non-Muslim community to understand the concept of the Islamic State through the impartation of the Islamic Values into the Malaysian society.
The Re-branding of PAS as a progressive, pragmatic and people orientated political party based on the Syariah guidelines has been the most challenging task.
Dato' Haji Husam Musa had taken the lead in such propagation of Islamic values, his most famous quotes' "Jadikanlah Negeri Kami Negeri Beragama Tempat Istirehat Orang-Orang Miskin Dan Memerlukan" which is indeed the ideal and the prayer of most PAS technocrats who want to make our nation of people who practices their religions, It is portray the role of government to protect the poor and needy by granting them resting place.
Such a power message is very simple and straight forward; it is the basis of role of the Islamic State government - to create morally righteous people that care for the poor and needy.
If we look deeper into the philosophies behind the message, the Islamic government is not just try to help the poor and needy but it also try to promote the righteous people who would take part in helping the lesser children of God!
It is indeed the foundation for the caring nation through the self realization of the needs to help others.
Many political opportunists like to use Hudud Law to scare the people away, and other try to use the Kafiruan verses to gain their political mileage. They failed to recognize the facts that Human being can never play God to judge other people created by the same God!
The Re-branding of PAS is very important, but its more important that PAS and other Muslim politicians do not exploits the verses in Holy Al Qur'an and Hadith just for their personal interests.
For the Non-Muslim, Islam is not to be feared but to be understood, while PAS leaders may need to have the patience to educate the people about what Islam is all about instead of using the rhetoric orator gift from Allah Almighty to call everybody Kafir in their own self-righteous standard.
After all the existent of PAS is to make people understand about ISLAM and its values through the political platform! The mandate from the people is to deliver the essence Al-Qur'an and Hadith in the people's daily life!
